Laura Cattell

Director and Clinical Lead
Qualifications: MSc Physiotherapy, BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science

Professional Interests: Lower limb, functional rehabilitation, providing a link into strength and conditioning to prevent risk of re-injury.

MORE ABOUT LAURA

Laura graduated from Birmingham University in 2008 after completing a MSc in Physiotherapy. Since graduating, she has worked as a rotational Physiotherapist at the Jersey General Hospital and has gained seven years of valuable experience and knowledge working in all areas of Physiotherapy.

In 2013, Laura worked as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and deliver a successful patient pathway for the treatment of total hip and knee replacements. She also played a fundamental role as part of the clinical lower limb team, giving her the opportunity to treat a wide variety of injuries.

In addition to her clinical experience, Laura has utilised her Sport and Exercise Science degree to assist in the medical management of the Jersey Rugby Club and Team JETS.

Charlotte Bayliss

Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor

MORE ABOUT CHARLOTTE

Charlotte trained as a Physiotherapist at Cardiff University and graduated in 2013. After graduating Charlotte worked in South Devon at The Fire Fighters Charity rehabilitation centre, based at Harcombe House. It was here that she developed her passion for holistic, exercise-based rehabilitation and started her training as a Pilates instructor.

After taking some time out to travel and compete in surfing competitions in Australia, Charlotte returned to North Devon, where she worked within the NHS prior to moving home to Jersey to start her career at Elevate.

Charlotte has a keen interest in shoulder and back injuries and is passionate about working with clients to get them back on track to reach their personal and professional goals.

Jack McDermott

MORE ABOUT JACK

Jack graduated from the University of Chichester with a degree in Sports Therapy in 2016. During his time at University Jack worked alongside the men’s football 1st team, providing pitch side cover and rehabilitation sessions for injured players. Jack also spent time working in the University’s student run injury clinic, treating students from a variety of sports.

Since graduating Jack has returned to Jersey and is currently working with many of Jersey’s sports teams. Jack was part of the team that traveled to the Island Games in Gotland, supporting the men’s football team with pitch side cover and recovery sessions. Over the summer Jack provided support to Jersey’s Cricket teams, covering pitch side duties for the u19s during their World Cup qualifiers, and leading strength & conditioning sessions for the senior side prior to their successful WCL 5 campaign.  Jack also works closely with the Island’s top netball players, including the u16 and senior Team Jets and assists Craig in the delivery of Jersey Hockey training protocols.

Away from work, Jack is a keen football fan and player but also likes to keep fit through running and swimming. He is also a follower of American football and athletics and enjoys water sports during the summer.
